Things are moving full steam ahead in Homestead as we make great progress throughout the community this summer!

• Retail Stores Now Open! Petro-Canada is officially open, with more stores coming soon — including Tim Hortons! Homestead Landing is beginning to take shape as your go-to retail destination.
• Cricket Pitches Taking Shape! The new cricket pitches are currently being loamed and graded, with sod installation to follow. While they’ll need time to establish, they’ll be ready for play by the 2026 season.
• Phase 9 Prep Begins. Preparation work on Phase 9 is scheduled to begin later this year as we continue building out Homestead’s future.
• 80 Avenue Access is on the Way. Base work is underway on 80 Avenue, and paving will be completed this summer. Once open, this new road will offer another convenient access point to Homestead from 84 Street.
• 84 Street is Fully Open. 84 Street is now fully open, with gravel road conditions north of 80 Avenue. This marks another important step in improving access and connectivity in the area.
